Dr. Kilpadi completed her postgraduate research fellowship at UTHSCSA under the direct mentorship and supervision of Thomas Zgonis, DPM, FACFAS. She also finished an orthopaedic internship and holds a PhD degree in biomedical engineering. She is actively involved in numerous research projects, clinical trials and publications within the division.

Grant Detail: The objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the INTEGRA Dermal Regeneration Template for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers located distal to the malleolus in subjects with diabetes mellitus, neuropathy, and without significantly compromised arterial circulation.
